Chamomile Extract
Chamomile has antioxidant, anti-irritant and antimicrobial properties. The main constituents of the flowers include several flavonoids. Flavonoids have anti-tumor and anti-inflammatory properties. In skincare products it helps to reduce redness and swelling, and is soothing on inflamed skin. Chamomile also calms skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, and it suppresses the release of histamines which helps in soothing allergic reactions.
