Allantoin
Allantoin is the botanical extract of the comfrey plant (shown in picture) and is used for its healing, soothing, and anti-irritating properties. Allantoin helps to heal wounds and skin irritations and stimulate growth of healthy tissue. Allantoin can also be found in wheat germ, rice polishings, and as organic compund of many soils. It has been used successfully for years to treat acne and skin eruptions, eczema and psoriasis.
